Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1) Install

From WordPress Dashboard:

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard “Add New Plugin” section.
  2. Search For “WSAnalytics”.
  3. Install, then Activate it.

Manual Installation :

  1. Download WSAnalytics form WordPress.org.
  2. Unzip and Upload WSAnalytics folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress Admin area.

2) How to Configure WSAnalytics

  1. Go to WSAnalytics-> Settings Section
  2. Go to “Step 1”, click on Use Pre-Generated Credentials Link for using default API Credentials and Hit save, If you want to use your own API You can follow this tutorial to do so.
  3. In “Step 2” click the Get Your Access Code Button and authenticate with your Google Account connected with your Google Analytics profile and copy the “Access Code” and paste in the box.
  4. After Authentication, Select your Profiles for front/admin Statistics from Settings-> Profile tab.
  5. If you want to use this plugin to install Google analytics to your website you can visit Settings-> General Setting tab. for it’s implementation.

FAQ

How to Authenticate and Connect my Google Analytics Account in this plugin ?

Go to WSAnalytics->Settings and see the Authentication tab. There are two steps to follow there.

In Step 1, You will enter your Google Console Project Credentials. Checkout the tutorial that how you can get your Keys. You can try the plugin with my keys by clicking on “Auto Populate following fields”.

In Step 2 (Enter Access Code),

Clicking on ‘Get Your Access Code’ link will open a popup to Authenticate to your Google Analytics account. It will give you a access code. Copy that code and Paste it in input box. Save it.

How to select GA profiles ?

First, you need to Authenticate your GA account then you can select your web profiles from Profiles tab in WSAnalytics->settings page.

I want to see different Google Analytics Profile data in my dashboard how I can do that ?

WSAnalytics Google Analytics uses Google API to fetch all your Google Analytics data into your WordPress you can see statistic for any website without going Google analytics Account. Simply Select the profile you want to see in your dashboard from WSAnalytics->settings -> Profile – > Profile for Dashboard.

All other plugings have simple authorization with google or just one key. I hate this all api crap, no one understand this with contingents and so on. Not even one link with tutorial is working.
