Why do I need a WordPress.com account?

Since Jetpack and its services are provided and hosted by WordPress.com, a WordPress.com account is required for Jetpack to function.

I already have a WordPress account, but Jetpack isn’t working. What’s going on?

A WordPress.com account is different from the account you use to log into your self-hosted WordPress. If you can log into WordPress.com, then you already have a WordPress.com account. If you can’t, you can easily create one during installation.

How do I view my stats?

Once you’ve installed Jetpack your stats will be available on WordPress.com/Stats, on the official WordPress mobile apps, and on your Jetpack dashboard.

How do I contribute to Jetpack?

Reviews

Jetpack is my fav plugin

Thank you for such incredible tool. Jetpack is like system inside system. It's different world for people who care about your blog. With Jetpack you get absolutely freedom and so much useful functions right in your wp admin. Thanks again!

Jetpack is must have wordpress plugin

Jetpack is the great plugin, but if you activate all modules (or features), it is can slow down your site, especially if you using cheap shared hosting. So, just install the modules as needed.

Resource Sapping

I used Jetpack for a period of 3 weeks, during which server resources tripled at the least. As soon as I deactivated Jetpack, all resources returned to normal. In my opinion, this plugin tries too hard do everything instead of doing one thing really well.

Unusably bloated and unnecessary

I've only jetpack a couple of times, usually to add some extra features to sites. In all cases I had mysterious issues with JS clashing with other plugins and generally slowed everything down. I feel like we should be past plugins that offer a million services which are rarely all used. I'm adding a review now as recently I've noticed the WooCommerce Services from Jetpack has crept causing shop owners to think they have to add Jetpack. I hate this kind of sneaky installation. If things continue in a years time they'll have a "uncheck box if you don't want jackpack"....not cool..
